On November 22, the holiday-themed ice skating rink in Sunnyvale opens for another season of fun. The festive rink will remain open throughout the holiday season with a closing date of January 20, 2020. Ice skating is the perfect winter activity for families looking for a kid-friendly experience, friends looking for a unique night out, and couples looking for a special date night. The Sunnyvale Ice Rink is about half an hour from the LiA Hotel, and the popular holiday destination is definitely worth the drive. The price of admission, $18 for adults and $13 for children under 8, includes hockey or figure skate rentals, but you can, of course, bring your own. All proceeds go to Sunnyvale Community Services in their mission to help the homeless and hungry in the community.
