Prost!

Prost is the German word for “Cheers!” and it is sure to be heard quite often at the annual Oktoberfest by the Bay celebration in San Francisco. The 2019 Oktoberfest by the Bay will take place from September 20-22 at Pier 35. This lovely event is just 25 miles from the LiA Hotel and it's definitely worth the trip. All weekend long, Oktoberfest will celebrate all things Bavarian and German. Your tastebuds will be delighted by German favorites like Bavarian pretzels, bratwursts, sauerkraut, and plenty of traditional desserts. Oktoberfest by the Bay will also be filled with music, singing, and dancing, all in the German tradition. Lastly, what Oktoberfest would be complete without beer? Local craft breweries and some from a little bit farther from the area will be selling their best Oktoberfest brews, so grab your favorite beer stein and head to Oktoberfest by the Bay.
